I absolutely love going to the movies. There is nothing like watching a movie on the big screen. That’s why I got myself a special pass to be able to go at least twice a week. And I haven’t regretted it since.
I don’t make it to the cinema too often these days, usually only when there’s a new movie out that the kids are super excited about. It’s become more of a special occasion for us, something we do together to bond over our shared love of movies. So while we don’t go as frequently as we used to, those cinema outings are always really special.
When I was younger I used to go at least once a month, but now I don’t have the time anymore. It’s also become way too expensive. I just don’t have that kinda money anymore, that’s why I only go to the cinema about once a year.
I’m more of a selective cinema-goer, saving my trips for those big blockbuster movies with lots of special effects that are meant to be experienced on the big screen. It’s all about that immersive experience for me, where the sound fills the theatre, and the visuals are larger than life. So while I might not go to the cinema as frequently, when there’s a movie that promises to deliver an epic spectacle, you can bet I’ll be there, popcorn in hand, ready to be blown away!
