I’d say they are extremely popular. You see them everywhere and they became even more popular now that there are many more cycling lanes.
Not really, it’s too hot here to ride around on a bike, plus the traffic makes it too dangerous. I wouldn’t cycle around town even if you paid me to.
They’re pretty popular around these parts, I guess. You’ll see folks riding them all over town, especially when the weather’s nice. But honestly, I’m more of a car person myself. I like having the AC blasting and my music cranked up while I cruise around. Plus, with a car, I don’t have to worry about breaking a sweat or getting caught in the rain.
Bikes used to be all the rage around here, but lately, it feels like everyone’s traded them in for electric scooters or something. I guess it’s just the trend these days. Personally, I don’t mind either way. Whatever gets you from point A to point B, right?

That’s an interesting question. I would say it is now much more popular to ride a bicycle in comparison to the time, 6 or 7 years ago. I would argue this popularity is based on the active lifestyle of the new generation, Generation Z.
Hello Nayoen,
You start well, with the structure ‘that’s an interesting question’ to buy some time.
I would say is also a good structure to use.
The rest of your answer sounds very scripted and robotic, not really very natural. So, try to make it sound a bit more natural.
You can also leave out some parts and change some.
it is now much more popular to ride a bike in comparison to let’s say about 6 or 7 years ago.
Now leave the I would argue structure away, it is a bit too formal.
Probably it’s become more popular because of the more active and healthier lifestyle of Gen Z.
So, try to not sound too formal. This is Part 1, no need to use all these formal structures.
Good luck with the exam.
And if you have any more questions or need any more help, just let me know.
