For instance, in metropolitan areas like Los Angeles and Tokyo, traffic jams are a daily occurrence, causing stress and lost productivity. By moving businesses to rural areas, the number of commuters in the city would decrease, easing traffic congestion and reducing commute times. Additionally, this shift could lead to improved air quality in cities as fewer vehicles would be on the road, thus contributing to a healthier environment.

However, there are potential downsides to this approach, particularly regarding housing and infrastructure. While relocating businesses might reduce housing demand in cities, it could create new problems in rural areas that lack the necessary infrastructure to support a sudden influx of people. For example, small towns might not have adequate housing, schools, or healthcare facilities to accommodate a significant population increase.
