- introduce yourself
- explain the condition of the road
- and suggest what they should do

Dear Sir/Madam,
My name is XXXXXXXX, and I am a resident of XXXXX Neighbourhood. I am writing to bring to your attention the severely damaged condition of the road in front of my house, which has been in a state of disrepair for an extended period.
The road has numerous deep potholes and extensive cracks, making it exceedingly difficult and hazardous for vehicles and pedestrians to navigate. During rainy weather, the situation worsens as the potholes fill with water, creating a significant risk of accidents. Additionally, the damaged road is causing substantial wear and tear on vehicles, leading to frequent repairs for many residents.
Given the urgency of this matter, I kindly request that the municipal authority take prompt action to repair the road. A thorough resurfacing of the damaged area would greatly improve the safety and convenience for everyone in our community. Furthermore, regular maintenance should be scheduled to prevent such deterioration in the future.
