The plans illustrate the changes in Grange Park from its original design in 1920 to its modern layout today. Overall, the modern Grange Park offers more diverse facilities, catering to a wider range of activities and visitor needs compared to its original design in 1920.
In 1920, the park featured a stage for musicians, a fountain, two rose gardens, a glasshouse, and a pond for water plants. There were also several seating areas distributed around the park.
Today, the park has undergone significant transformations. The stage for musicians has been replaced by an amphitheatre for concerts. The fountain is no longer present, and a large rose garden now occupies the central area, surrounded by seating. The glasshouse has been removed and replaced by a café, enhancing the park’s amenities for visitors. Additionally, a children’s play area has been introduced, providing recreational space for young visitors.
