I absolutely loathe shopping. If there is one thing in the world that I hate the most I would have to say shopping. I just can’t stand shopping for clothes. It takes too much time, there are way too many people and I never seem to find something that suits me. Sorry, but no thank you.
I love it, I absolutely love it. I go shopping at least once a week, I don’t always buy something, so most of the time it’s just window shopping, but still. There is something about trying on new clothes and just seeing how I look in them. Then there is the amount of time that I spend just browsing online shops. If I had more money, I’m sure I’d buy a lot more.

Do you like shopping?
My answer: Not really. I’d rather say I don’t. I hardly ever go out shopping for clothes, I only buy necessary things like food, of course, some gadgets, gifts for friends and family, that sort of things. Actually, I reckon shopping is a waste of time, because I can spend a whole day window-shopping and get back home without any purchase. I either can’t find things I like or they’re too dear. I’m always looking for a reasonable balance of price and quality. As a matter of fact, I’ve been shopping online a lot recently. And surprisingly, I find myself enjoying it.
Thanks for your excellent answer Elena.
I would just say balance between price and quality instead of.
Apart from that pretty impressive
Among the things that are pleasurable to me, I would say shopping tops it all. I feel a sense of satisfaction while shopping. The joy I get from buying new thing and acquiring a lot of items cannot be described.
Hello Elena,
Thanks for your comment and your reply to the question. I would say it’s a bit too formal and constructed: ‘pleasurable, sense of satisfaction, acquiring a lot of items’. It’s something you could write, but would never really say. Try to make it more spoken, rather than written. Just answer the question if you would be talking to a friend, or on a date, but try to use some good language (not formal language) at the same time.
I hope this helps.
