I just love the sea. The village where I grew up is just next to the sea. So,as a child I spend most of my free time or school holidays I at the seaside. The sound of the waves hitting the beach, is amazing and really soothing. That’s why even as an adult I still love going to the beach and most of my holidays around the world are beach holidays.
I just don’t get it why people love going on a beach holiday. I understand that kids love it, playing in the sand, swimming in the water all day, but as an adult? What can you do on the beach all day? Sunbathe? Just roasting on a towel the whole day while reading a book? That’s just boring. I prefer an active holiday where I do things, rather than laying down the whole day in the blazing sun.
Absolutely, I love going on holiday to the sea. There’s something so rejuvenating about being by the ocean – the sound of the waves, the salty breeze, and the endless horizon. It’s the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Whether it’s lounging on the beach, swimming in the crystal-clear waters, or exploring coastal towns, I always come back feeling refreshed and invigorated after a seaside vacation. So yeah, you could say I’m a big fan of beach getaways.
While I enjoy the sea, there’s something about the mountains that really speaks to me. The fresh, crisp air, the breathtaking views, and the tranquillity of nature – it’s like hitting the reset button for my soul. Whether it’s hiking through rugged trails, skiing down snowy slopes, or simply cozying up by a fireplace with a hot cocoa, mountain holidays offer a different kind of serenity and adventure. So yeah, if given the choice, I’d pick a mountain retreat over a beach holiday any day.
