General IELTS Writing Task 1/ IELTS Letter:
You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.
You should write at least 150 words.
You do NOT need to write any address.
Begin your letter as follows:
Dear…,
Dear Sir,
I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I have recently received from your bank. Two weeks ago, on [date], I ordered a new cheque book through your online banking portal. I was informed that it would be delivered within a few days. However, despite this assurance, I have yet to receive anything.
This delay is causing significant inconvenience, as I rely on my cheque book for various financial transactions that are time-sensitive. The lack of communication and follow-up from the bank is also quite concerning.
I would like to know how much longer I will have to wait for my cheque book to arrive. Additionally, I would appreciate it if you could inform me of the actions you will take to rectify this matter and ensure that such delays do not occur in the future. It is crucial for your bank to maintain reliable and prompt service to uphold customer trust and satisfaction.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this issue. I look forward to your swift response and a satisfactory resolution.
Yours faithfully,
