Model Example Answer

Hi Jacky,

I hope you’re doing well and getting excited about your trip! I’m really looking forward to your visit, but I’ve run into a bit of a hiccup. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to meet you at the airport exactly when you land, and I’m truly sorry for this.

Could you please wait for me at the arrivals area? I’ll make sure to get there as swiftly as possible. To help you identify me, I’ll be wearing a bright red jacket and holding a sign with your name on it. I have short, dark hair and will be carrying a black backpack, so that should make it easier to spot me.

While you’re waiting, you might find some comfortable seating and coffee shops in the airport where you can relax. If you need any assistance or have questions, the airport staff at the information desk are very helpful.

Again, I apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience. I’m really excited to see you and show you around!

Best wishes,
