The maps illustrate the changes in Pacific Railway Station from 1998 to the present day. Overall the train station expanded, almost doubling the amount of tracks, additional shops have also been added. The overall layout has become more diverse and functional, providing a wider range of amenities and services for commuters and travellers.
In the present layout, several notable changes have been made. The toilet block has been replaced by a supermarket, occupying a larger area in the bottom left corner. The platforms remain in the same position, but the facilities surrounding them have undergone significant alterations. The area previously occupied by the toilet block now hosts a restaurant, located centrally. Additionally, two new shops have been added, positioned on either side of the restaurant, increasing the retail options available to passengers. The cafe and ticket office have retained their original positions, but the ticket office is now twice as large, being able to deal with more travellers.
