I really don’t know if I have a favourite season. I think every season has something special to offer. I absolutely love the cold and snow when it’s winter. The leaves turning different colours when it’s autumn. Spring when the birds start chirping again and the flowers blooming. Then there are the lovely long warm summer days and nights. So, I really can’t pick a favourite one.
Since we only have 2 seasons here, rainy season and dry season, there is not a lot of choice. I guess, I like the beginning of the dry season when it still rains a little bit, but it’s not too hot yet, afterwards it really gets scorching hot and then you have to hide from the sun most of the day.
My favourite season would have to be autumn. There’s something magical about the crisp air, the vibrant colours of the changing leaves, and the cosy atmosphere. Plus, it’s the perfect time for all things pumpkin spice! I love going for walks in the park or hiking through the forest, surrounded by the beauty of nature’s transformation. And let’s not forget about the holidays like Halloween and Thanksgiving, which add an extra layer of warmth and joy to the season. So yeah, autumn definitely holds a special place in my heart.
My favourite season would probably be the rainy season. It brings relief from the scorching heat of the dry season and revitalises the landscape with lush greenery and blooming flowers. The sound of rain on the roof is so soothing, and I love how everything seems to come alive with the first drops of rain. Plus, it’s essential for agriculture, ensuring a bountiful harvest for farmers. So yeah, the rainy season would be my favourite time of year here.
